Room For 4 More is a coming of age fantasy series, created in the absence of young adult and children's LGBT+ media in New Zealand, exploring the journey of young LGBT+ kiwi's set in early 2005. We want tell a story that can comfort and inspire kids who are battling through a time of self discovery by showing an encouraging reflection of themselves - to help kids learn about each other, and to see the real magic that comes from self love and acceptance.
STORY & CHARACTER
Everything goes wrong when sixteen year old Birch takes his camping group on a midnight joyride in their counselors car, and loses their way on the dusty open roads.
The group of dysfunctional kids experience their first taste of unsupervised freedom, only to find themselves completely lost in the NZ wilderness. Birch, Olive, Lady, Teddy and Dandelion all have to work together if they want to make it through the wop-wops in one piece.
Being noticed by your crush is suddenly a lot less important when your air freshener turns out to be a shape-shifting demon.
